Directions
From junction 36 of the M6, follow signs for BARROW on the A590 dual carriageway.
After 3 miles leave on the slip road, again signed BARROW, and follow this (partially dualled) road for approx. 6 miles.
After passing the BP Petrol Station, keep right at the roundabout, following signs for BARROW.
Travel up the hill on the dual carriageway, and just over the summit turn left signed CARTMEL.
Follow the lane down, and at the crossroads turn left.
Follow the lane for about mile and bear left at the next junction.
Approximately 200-300 yards along the lane, turn right at the sign for the AYNSOME MANOR COUNTRY HOUSE HOTEL.
At the end of the narrow lane, turn right.
Round the bend, after passing the Hotel, turn sharp right through the stone wall by themonkey puzzle trees, into AYNSOME MANOR PARK.
The car parking space (no 26) is just below the wall at the foot of our garden, on the lhs of the car parking area entered. We advise reversing into the no 26 space, as it is tricky to reverse out, due to low level obstructions.
The total distance from the motorway is 15 miles.
