There are plenty of guides to them the Lodge, and all the maps you will need. Aynsome Manor Hotel , a lovely Georgian house, is adjacent to the park. It boasts a five course dinner superbly prepared from fresh local produce, delicious home made soups, biscuits and bread rolls served in their candlelit Georgian dining room. The cellars offer a wide ranging selection of over 90 wines. There is a cosy well stocked bar.
Grange -over-Sands is only 3 miles away, and is a lovely little Edwardian resort by Morecombe Bay, with a butcher (Higginsons) voted the best butcher - England (!), some excellent fruit and veg shops and very pretty parks.
